Tap into Your Creativity
We all have some sort of creativity instilled in us. Creativity is broad and it encompasses us all. It is far more than a painting and it can even come from redecorating a room, cooking, DIY that pinterest board you’ve been eyeing but never got a ‘chance’ to, writing a journal and more! I recently did some DIY myself and I have to say, I loved it. I made my own bracelets, I made my own soap and lip balm and I even tried a hand at flower arrangement. I might even take up a drawing class so who knows! Get your creative juices flowing and own it.

Dare to Try Something Out of Your Comfort Zone
They say that “life begins at the end of your comfort zone”. It may be true to a certain extent. Take that leap of faith and dare to do it. Have that something you’ve been dying to do but too afraid or too shy? Do it. At least, try to. I recently went on a solo yoga trip and it made me fall in love with Yoga again and by picking up the practice, I’ve become a slightly calmer person. I can’t wait to go back. If you don’t try, you won’t know.

Pick Up an Old Hobby Again
Ever said “I used to love doing ____. But then life just got in the way and I stopped.”? Or something along that line? Well the time is now to pick it up again. Start doing things you love or used to love doing. Maybe you’ll fall in love with it again. Who knows! I used to do kickboxing/Muay Thai 8 years ago when I was still in university. And for some reason, I was doing it less and less and I stopped. I remember feeling great after each session so I decided to start it up all over again. Wish me luck! 😉

Read an Inspirational Book
If there’s ever a way to get inspired, it’s by reading other people’s stories. Pick up that book you’ve heard rave reviews on and have a go. Even if it isn’t an motivational autobiography, read that book you’ve been wanting to read but never seemed to flip open. Cause in some way or another, you will get inspired. If you’re not sure what you want to read but you’ve a reading itch to scratch, here is my book bucket list for 2016 for some tips.

A Heart-to-Heart Talk with a Close Girlfriend
Never underestimate the power of a close girlfriend. Even if you don’t have a heart-to-heart, a good conversation and a laugh is always good for the soul. This year I’ve been trying to reach out to my girlfriends more often and I feel good every time. It’s not about the quantity of friends you have but the quality.
