A little over 2 years ago, my family and I were lucky enough to be introduced to the world of Young Living essential oils. From beneficial additions they became our go-to remedies that suddenly replaced our usually stocked-up medicine cabinets. I’m not saying you should do the same, but it became an accidental essential to our lives and it became essential for a reason. A good one.
While I’m not allowed to make any claims that Young Living therapeutic essentials oils can treat, prevent or mitigate diseases, I can safely say that we have come across phenomenal results within our home and to the people we’ve shared it with. (Disclaimer at the end of this page).
When my mother was first introduced to Young Living, the rest of us were very skeptical until we saw the positive results they brought onto her health. From there she used them on us and before we knew it we started implementing these oils into our daily lifestyle too. For everything! From simply diffusing for its aroma to drinking lemon water for its cleansing benefits, now our whole house is filled with Young Living products! Soaps, shampoos, supplements you name it! Because the reason behind it, is the essential oils themselves. What drives the success of Young Living, isn’t any selling or convincing talks but in the products themselves.
My little brother who frequented the doctor with an almost monthly need for antibiotics has now a stronger immune system. My mother who has high blood pressure, chronic migraines with recurring black outs, is now stronger than ever and totally drug-free from any high blood pressure medications. My father with his health and cholesterol issues is on a slow but progressive mend with these natural remedies. I for one have always had a case of nose and skin allergies to dust mites or anything less than perfectly clean surroundings. From popping antibiotics and weekly antihistamines, I’ve yet to touch them in a year. And counting.

WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT YOUNG LIVING?
What sets Young Living apart from many other essential oil brands is that it is the only essential oil company in the world with its own farms and distilleries around the world. Founder Dr. Gary Young leaves no room for compromise and shortcuts making sure that each and every bottle is filled with the highest quality of therapeutic grade you can get out of a plant. This is assured by Young Living’s own Seed to Seal (click on link) process of which Young Living produces truly 100 % pure and therapeutic-grade essential oils.
What you see is literally what you get. None of those extra unmentionables! When you see a bottle of lemon oil, that’s what it is! Lemon! Although it came from the lemon rinds themselves not the juices as the rinds produce the highest percentage of d-limonene, a story which I will share another time. But you get the drift… The Young Living team makes sure that each bottle of oil comes from the best care through sorting the healthiest seed, to organic environments, to the best of what nature provides to extracting the highest quality of therapeutic oil out of each plant.
I don’t want to make comparisons but the next time you’re reaching out for that bottle of ‘pure’ essential oil off a supermarket or pharmacy counter, think again what kinds of unknown toxins you want to diffuse in your home and in turn, your body. That is what scares me the most and that is what I always have in mind. I don’t want to spray myself with fake fragrances nor do I want my home to be filled with toxic cleaning products, that may smell good but not in the expense of my health.
I can only share with you my experiences and my stories. That’s what we do isn’t it? We share. I want to have a home that I can feel safe in. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. With Young Living, I am pretty much well on my way.
