Coconut Water Hummus Recipe

What’s a snack-loving girl gotta do? Snacking is FOR SURE my number one enemy when it comes to my health and fitness. So I turn to the ever-so-overused note-to-self, “do what you gotta do”. Albeit the context may be a little too trivial for some, but hey, why not?

Snacking doesn’t have to be an enemy when it’s done right! Proteins with just enough fiber and good fats, hummus can do no (or not much) harm. If eaten in moderation of course… Pair it with raw veggies or your choice of healthy bread, this chickpeas dip is, dare I say it… HEAVENLY.

Recipe
1 clove garlic
2 cups cooked chickpeas
4 tbsp olive oil, grapeseed oil etc
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp maple syrup/blue agave/honey
2 tsp himalayan rock salt
Pinch (or more)of cayenne pepper (believe me, it makes a difference!)
1/3 cup coconut water (more or less to adjust to your preferred consistency)
5 drops of YL lemon oil (at the end)

Method
1. Blend all of the above (except coconut water and YL lemon oil) in a food processor.
2. Trickle in coconut water till your preferred consistency has reached.
3. Add your lemon oil and SERVE!
4. Take a photo, tag @yoursnaturely and let us know how you like your heavenly hummus!
