Roundup of My Favourite Posts from 2015

This may come a little late but it’s here! I figured I should do a roundup of my favourite posts from last year just to recap. Even I have forgotten that I made some of these posts. To those of you who are new to my blog or Instagram account, welcome!  If this is your first visit to the blog, you’re in for a treat as this single post will show you a little bit more of what I love and what my blog is all about.

How to Make Your Own Frozen Smoothie
For some time my lifestyle was all about HIIT workouts and frozen smoothies. Although I’m on a slightly different path now with a slower-paced lifestyle, I still do love my frozen smoothies from time to time, especially my layered smoothies!

Smoothies vs Juices. What’s the Verdict?

There were so many misconceptions with smoothies and juices and there still is now! I hope this post helps some of you to understand a little bit of the difference and what each is there to do.

Neither is still better than the other. You just have to apply them to different needs and use them to the best of their abilities. Otherwise, you are only doing your body more harm than good. It’s not about what juices or what smoothie ingredients are healthiest, it’s about listening to your body and knowing what it needs.

7 Positive Affirmations to End Your Day With

I love these kinds of posts. There is always something so inspiring to take back when reading or writing about mantras and affirmations.

In order to grow and to expand your horizons, you first need to meet yourself where you are at. Be at peace with yourself, your life, your family and your loved ones. Only then are you balanced and grounded and only then can you find your way onto the next chapter of your life.

6 Ways to Stay Healthy While On A Cruise

One of last year’s highlights was when I got to go on a Mediterranean cruise to Turkey, Greece and Croatia. I’ve heard so much about people gaining weight or getting bored from being in a cruise and honestly, I loved it! There still are ways to stay healthy and get yourself active on a cruise you just have to make use of what’s available to you.

Health isn’t a destination, it’s a vehicle. It’s a lifelong journey that only you yourself can go on for yourself. Nobody else can do it for you. But most importantly, have fun doing it!

Everyday Essential Oils – Lemon
If you don’t know this already, I’m an avid essential oil user. Essential oils that are only from Young Living. Why? Well for starters, it is the only essential oil company in the world that has their own farms and distilleries and thus produce their own products that are set to the highest standards. If you’d like to know more about it, check out the page “Living with Essential Oils” or leave a comment below or even send me an email at

In general the rinds are what we really need as they alkalize our body which helps in detoxing your system. But keep in mind of the waxy nature of those lemon rinds as they’ve been exposed to extreme pesticides and organisms that we can’t even begin to imagine.

So this is last year’s Roundup. I wonder what 2016’s will look like… 🙂
